Ann’s Story

I guess one of the first reasons I considered doing SOS was from hearing stories of people who had already participated. The main message they had was that it’s hard work but also gallons of fun. Everyone I’ve ever known on it has had an absolutely fantastic time. You get to meet new people, help out others and have fun. I really don’t think I’ve laughed so much as those 10 days on SOS.

Another reason I chose was to do SOS was because I wanted to do something different. Have you ever had that feeling when your holidays are over that you’ve wasted your whole summer? I’d certainly felt that and spent many hours of my holidays being bored or doing absolutely nothing in front of the TV or on Facebook, so I really wanted to get something out of my summer, and have a different and unusual experience. I never could have imagined I would have found something so amazing and worthwhile!
